Hi Saturday Morning Fan,

Have you ever experienced that feeling at the beginning of training where you feel light headed, disoriented, and fatigued - as if you're about to fall off of your bike? Then, after some time passes, you're back to normal?

This can happen for several reasons, but a big problem comes from a drop in blood sugar.

For those of us that eat before we train, we might have had carbs too close to our training session. Typically, when we eat within about the 30-90 minute window before our workout, it causes us to experience a sugar crash during training.

For that reason, we should always try to have our pre-workout meal about 2 hours before we workout to make sure this doesn't happen!

Conversely, if you're starved for time, just tap the "Fasted before training?" box during your fuel prep and we'll give you a little boost and have you start sipping your drink 15-25 mins before you begin training.

Try the above and I'd bet it'll help.
